  1. Yes, I'd like to own all the versions! It's a well-built engine. Great details. I'd like to make some new ground like housings and put tiny LEDs inside (porch lights too?). Maybe paint flat black the rubber suspension on the side frames of the trucks and some other detailing. I think the air hoses should have been made flexible. I think these are heavier than the Dash 8 models. Having different drives, it would be fun to do a pull test.
  2. I did not know that! I thought they looked realistic. I didn't think they actually worked like that.
  3. well if you have something that measures in inches, multiple inches by 32 and then divide by 29. Might be a faster way but that's what popped up in my brain!
  4. usually some type of tape method
  5. 2024 North East Ohio Large Scale Train Show - Large Scale Trains this looks pretty big!
  6. Didn't anyone here get the D&RG version? I don't see any posts of one. 70-2138-1 | MTH ELECTRIC TRAINS (mthtrains.com)
  7. Just a guess on what was found in a search. I've heard of one off runs for customers or buyers/builders who dabbled with this kind of stuff over the years.
  8. Wow, great stuff. could that end be the Lionel Standard gauge piece?
