enginear joe
That's exactly what the primer is for! You can block sand the primer if sandable. You could skim coat any areas with a sandable filler. Some guys use auto body fillers, and then block sand. Don't put it anywhere you can't sand. You could also just weather the areas to look like rust has taken it's toll too. Depends on what era you want it to represent? As delivered or near end of service? rbrown7713
Thanks, but I think that I am at the end of service. This thing is taking too long. I am losing my patience. Bob.

rbrown7713
I created this sub frame to hold the slide brackets and slides and will be attached to the frame. This way I can remove the shell without removing the valve gear. Bob.

rbrown7713
Thanks for your concern, but I am fine and still working on the T1. Finished the tender and built a baggage car for the TIU. Here are some pictures. I am posting more on YouTube, channel: omiateeful. Bob.
enginear joe
Whoa, beautiful job on that tender! That HW looks great too. Amazing work here. I'm very impressed again. I have a long list of modern diesels that I want to build or buy. I would add this set-up to that list.
rbrown7713
Thanks Joe. Today, I am making a mold for the various undercarriage parts for the baggage car so when I build some more heavyweights I can use them. I decided to put the batteries in the loco. free weight, also the bearings in the baggage car sure makes them roll easily, the loco won't know that it is pulling anything, even with one small motor. enginear joe
Yeah Baby! Now she's there. Hay. what happened to the speaker baffle? If she runs in reverse first in error, swap the motor wires. Very nice. I can't wait.
rbrown7713
I wondered why it started in reverse, thanks. I don't know whether it sounds better with the baffle or not. Closer, but now cigar. Bob.
Screwy Nick
Bob, ?? please, do you have the option of using 'contacts' on the wheels to produce the chuff or is it a voltage control, Does the baffle have a cover, amy make a difference. thank you.
