Rayman4449
Great model and they do run good. Triplex is one of my favorite all time engine designs
enginear joe
Well Congrats again. Add oil before you try the smoke units. I oiled all the working points of the valve train, and all the axles too. There are a couple of weak points that may show up after sometime. I have modified mine a little. I added KDs so I could pull longer trains. The big problem for me is that my cars don't all match each other yet. So when I try to find out just how many cars this engine can actually pull, the train will split at any weak point. I need to buy some serious amounts of KDs for the fleet. I'm about 1/3 there. For now I use a pusher to keep the train hooked together. I tried this engine as a pusher and had trouble getting enough head end power to equal it! Now that I have a Big Boy, I may do some more testing. Let's try four articulated's up front and the triplex in the back? That should equal out.
