mringer
I have a Bachmann G -Scale train going around our tree. The track is directly on our tile floor and tends to shift. Is there anyway to stop the shifting of the tracks. I also posted this question on the tail end of a Christmas train post from 2012, so please excuse my double posting. I realized after posting it that iIshould start my own topic.
Rayman4449
Hi there and welcome. Assuming the track isnt coming apart at the joints, my guess is would need something under the track (like fabric or something rubber) to cause the ties to bite to in order to keep them from spreading/shifting. grsman
There is shelf lining that is non-stick. Can be cut to shape as needed. That should keep things in place. Tom
Chuck
I've seen portable layouts that use rubber bands to hold track together. Thick small rubber bands going from tie to tie...install on each side of track joint.
Rayman4449
Both great ideas. The self lining would be perfect and rubber bands too. That should fix your issue.
