Yardtrain
With the winter finally over in the Northeast, I am looking to order some Split Jaw rail clamps (stainless). I see RLD shows them in stock. I never ordered from them any feedback about them would be appreciated. Or any other place to order from.
Rayman4449
I believe the last time I ordered I got them off ebay (direct from Split Jaw).

Larry Sr.
In addition to Rays suggestion I also used the split jaw products. the clamps are very good quality. In addition to his source Only Trains.com is another excellent source.
Chuck
Seems I read somewhere that Split Jaw is going out of business so you better load up.

Yardtrain
I was curious how well the Split Jaw would fit the contour of the AML stainless rail before I made the investment. The top is Aristo Brass w/brass Split Jaw. The bottom one is the AML stainless with stainless Split Jaw. Good enough for me time to $$$$
grsman
Yardtrain That looks like a pretty good fit to me. Tom
Yardtrain
Stainless track with Split Jaw stainless rail joiners. So should I also apply conductive grease. ?
Sean
Wouldn't hurt ...
Dave Stubbs
I would also apply some anti-seize to the bolts. stainless is soft and the bolts can get galled up in the clamp.
Jim Miller
Split jaw is the best. Still replacing other kinds after every winter. RLD is good but not as good as Ray Manley..........Get me any points Ray.
