Chuck
This is the NTSB factual report findings into the crash of B-17G up in Connecticut from 2019. I watch this channel quite a bit as Juan is a commercial pilot, private pilot, veteran, worked for years as flying firefighter birddog for tankers, tanker instructor etc. He's one of those guys that has the "inside" connections in the aviation world. This is just tragic the way the Collings Foundation operated along with the flyboy/ mechanic treated these rare and precious warbirds...just unbelievable. Part 1... Part 2... BrianUPheritage
Thanks for posting. I flew on 909 with Mac at the controls years ago, it was a great experience. He was a nice guy and always talked to me when the collings foundation was in town. I am saddened to find out it was a maintenance issue that cost himself and 6 others there lives. I think he was spread to thin in the recent years, when I flew they had more staff Members. Brian
