Screwy Nick
The weather is perfect for nice plumes.
Dash 8
Hi Nick, nice, when I watched your videos I remembered my old log buggy, ideal for live Steam. Built in the early 90's of wood. I still have an old model of Rivarossi. Recreated in 1/32 with a sense of proportion, I think the wheels could be bigger. Thank you Jan
Screwy Nick
Jan, the wheels look fine to me. And those are real logs, not foam like I have. I tried, but failed at that. Max is still watching closely. How is Moritz? well I hope. Bug sends his regards.
Dash 8
That was Moritz, who takes care of what I eat.... Greetings from Max and Moritz to Bug. Thank you Jan
Screwy Nick
Jan, sorry I confused them, I even compared it to the pic you sent of both of them. Bug seems to make a slight appearance in most of the videos, I think he visions himself Alfred Hitchcock.
Dash 8
Well I think Bug takes care of the garden, all dogs do that when a pigeon lands here....it doesn't stay long. I dried the wood for the log cars for many years and then cut it. Then the cutting surfaces remain smooth.
Screwy Nick
Drying must have been my error. I lashed them down almost fresh, and when they dried they were loose and some wrinkled. What kind of tree are they from??
Dash 8
That was a long time ago, but I use an app for plants. That was striped maple, see in the picture. The young shoots or branches are ideal. The bark is very thin and does not dissolve when it is dry. Good luck.
Screwy Nick
Jan, thank you, I'll keep a look out for one. Maybe the guy I get my fire wood will know.
