Jerry B44
Good video. the Smart Phone app seems like it will be a good thing, even for a guy that is 71! Sounds like MTH is moving along well.
Chuck
I hope MTH catalogs the N&W 611 w/ matching passenger cars Be real nice if they offered some heavyweight sets
Rayman4449
I can tell you in the last year I have had as many people ask about a possible 611 model as much as another Big Boy run and that is saying a lot! If they do a 611 I'm all in for sure myself

Rayman4449
Haha well I do recall someone indicated there was a new steamer already designed and ready to go. Hopefully with what looks like good sales so far we may see it along with the Big Boy... an maybe an ES44??

enginear joe
Hi, UP 1983 SD 70 ace and UP 1982 and UP 19..... I should have made a kit for converting Dash 8's to ACes!!
Chuck
Wow! Anybody else catch the part where Andy says the new O catalog has between 500 - 525 new SKU numbers? That means 1,000 - 1,050 new SKU's per year just in O Gauge as they release 2 catalogs per year! Well in the 2013 RailKing One-Gauge catalog I counted something like 93 new SKU numbers so not to bad
Mike1083
Really looking forward to see what will be offered, and how soon they will be able to have the product available.
Dash 8
Yeah, good idea Joe, but I do not cut a dash in small pieces. That makes me nervous. You've built a nice model, pack it and send it to MTH as a prototype. If MTH builds the ACE's, first I buy ear plugs for me and my Skotty Max.The Air Starter has it in itself, great sound .... enginear joe
My Scottie also named Max, was put down several years ago (2007), suffering with Lymphoma. If I could ask, could you post a picture of him? I sure miss mine. My girl won't let me get another. I cried for days last time..... After 14 years, he was part of my family. His picture is still right next to me here.
Dash 8
Hey Joe, I'm sorry about your dog.and excuse for the digressionsI put a little video of Max in my railroad channelThere's also a video showing the Prime Beacon is ready.Cheer up, life goes on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV27W3KeTq8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX7opXgGU8E
enginear joe
Thank you! I think Max wanted to know why the attention was on him? & I think the beacon looks great!
SteamPower4ever
If we're allowed to make wishes, I hope for a UP gas turbine. Veranda w/tender or a Big Blow. Here's a 45min video of the UP turbines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHyF4MT2LuY Jens

SteamPower4ever
Hehehe ... - "Boss, that triplex doesn't steam too good." - "What? Must be the wheel arrangement. We'll make a 4x3 instead. That will be much better." Jens
Dash 8
small joke had to be,Many want big steam engines, me too.But on my small layout are the curves too smallI like the UP 9000, which have their own sound, and the AC-6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXlPArr96b0&feature=youtu.be

BigHurt844
If they make a J hoping we'll see the auxiliary tender made for it as well, those N&W engines look so much better pulling both!
SteamPower4ever
As the 2015 catalog is dragging out, I can sneak in one more wish ... In my other scale (N) I've just purchased a model of SP 4449 on eBay. Seems like that has sparked something combustible inside me and I may be in love. In 1:32 scale I can only find the Accucraft model of 4449, but the price tag? ... sheeesh! So, my wish is 4449 in Daylight livery with DCC at an affordable price, please. Jens PS: It may not be just 4449, but a general FEF affection I've developed. 844 certainly has appeal too.
Rayman4449
Until MTH reruns it, their One Gauge model of the SP4449 does show up from time on ebay on a semi-regular basis. http://www.rayman4449.com/MTH_Daylight_GS4.htm
SteamPower4ever
Oooooh ... shiny !!! ... and I've been combing through your site looking for it Gotta keep a lookout for it. I've had quite a bit of luck on the 'bay lately. Thanks Jens
