enginear joe Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 I have some O scale equipment that has sounds and I love them. The Lionel ethanol cars came with sounds and are great. They even make cars with "hot box" sounds for problem wheels or journals. They make station sounds diners too. I see some DCC companies offering sound boards and I know there were some generic older stuff like cattle car sounds. Anyways how about a G scale tanker with sounds? Simple clickity clack over tracks? Flange squeals on curves and brake sounds when slowing? I usually have to modify the 3 rail O gauge stuff to run on my 2 rail layout. So I'm thinking why not for my outside layout too? Outside it seems that I turn stuff down more so not to draw attention to what I'm doing out there.
