Another question, for any g-gauge...has anyone invented a way, ugly or not, to couple non-matching regular knuckle coupler a la USA Trains, to an LGB-style hook and loop? Doesn't have to be pretty, just has to work, a quick temporary fix for visitors with non-compatible equipment.

Our group is running a railway with approx 500 ft LGB track, wide turns, no excessive grades. We are interested in narrow gauge 1:24 scale live steam to run on our track. Question: what are the issues trying to mix LGB rolling stock with an engine like this, and will it look stupid? Also, what percent grade is 10" in 50 ft? Any advice gratefully received, Betty
