  1. Good job Chuck.

I started to post that this am but wasn’t sure he wanted a new one.. I was lucky Pops to find a used brand new one last summer. They are getting harder to locate new like that one Chuck referred you to.

Also, I have had very good luck ordering from that company including recently.

    Have fun.

  3. Sean,

I  like the way you have raised the track. Nice layout by the way.

Did you make those supports? If so , If it's not to much trouble could you share the template if you have it?:Smiling_Face_Emoji_with_Blushed_Cheeks_large(24x24):

Additionally , how are they anchored to the ground. I'm sure you (Mass) have freeze issues during winter. They all look so level.

    Thanks

    Larry

  4.

    Ha ya funny Jerry.

I,m just trying to make the thing fun.

I did take a couple of tenders today. One that was a Delaware & Hudson and another that was New York Central and BASH them. lol

Now I know Clinchfield never had a Hudson Steam, but they did have a challenger. hee.

Really Erwin, TN never had a Rock Creek Railroad either , but they do now. ha HA HA :D

I was nice about it and made placards so as not to destroy the thinks.

They did come out good and the pictures don't really do them justice.

I am in the process of ordering more decals from Stan for other projects. He does good work.

Still having fun and better get back to those buildings.

  5. Hi Jerry, thanks

I did read you were moving and starting a new adventure.:Thumbs_Up_Hand_Sign_Emoji_large(24x24): I'm looking forward to watching the new layout in progress,

You all have weather a lot worse than we do so I understand.

I to am disappointed in my engine pre orders but being new in G It seems like I might as well get used to that with MTH.lol

One very good thing all the 5 GS American Freedom passenger cars are here, all the Veterans and 1st responder cars (like 20 I think is the total) are here. :Smiling_Emoji_with_Eyes_Opened_large(24x24):

So I don't really have a reason to moan and groan. They have done well.

Besides it's winter and I'll play O gauge inside. lol:D

    Stay warm

    Larry

  6. I for one certainly appreciate you giving Mike some feedback about Railking One Gauge.:Slightly_Smiling_Face_Emoji(24x24):

I to agree that they have so much in inventory we can only hope he continues at least putting some on the market.

I will make my plea to him (probably like others) at the upcoming April 2018 York meet not to forget us in One Gauge.:Thinking_Face_Emoji_large(24x24):

  7. Ray

I have studied your information here before and certainly agree and  wish sellers would adhere to it.

But, I think the  majority of sellers could care less. They get the money and it's gone. End of story. IMO

Sadly my big boy and even another displayed only triplex convinced me I will never buy a used engine again unless I'm at a train show so I can  carry it home.

The Post Office (Delivery Service) also contributes to damage as well. They have played football with numerous purchases I have received in O and a few G scale over the years.

Even one of the brand new Factory shipping boxes you sent me of ONE   American Freedom passenger car.

THAT'S the post office. Luckily the car was not damaged. Just the outer and inner box.

Between lackadaisical shippers and the postal service the chances you get one of these Big G engines shipped USED from a private seller in the mail undamaged is slim. IMO

Humorously, on the other side one exception if Joe  EVER sells me his Clinchfield Challenger I'll waiver this bad attitude about shipping.:Smirk_Face_Emoji_large(24x24):

  8.

I.m waiting on 2 Dash 8's and the American Freedom Engine as well.

I really don't think MTH is dropping the ball as much as I believe they have a lot of pokers in the fire as we say here.

G is so small of a demand .:Confused_Face_Emoji_large(24x24):

I'm just so glad they are doing something. :Slightly_Smiling_Face_Emoji(24x24):

Of course my opinion does have something to do with me wanting to stay DCS. lol:Wink_Emoji_large(24x24):

  9. That all sounds familiar. My youngest grandson is 13 this year and his train engine interest has dwindled considerably over the past few years. My granddaughter is 4:Flushed_Face_Emoji_large(24x24): and I still consider a terror in the train room:Tears_of_Joy_Emoji(24x24): but I’m sure she’s going to improve. She likes to take things with her.:Wink_Emoji_large(24x24):
