  1. Hello and thank you very much for your clarifications. So out of the Loop everything works very well now. I tried with a contact track length of 2.50m (length of my longest train). Inside the Loop the situation is different; the train stops when passing on the contact track (even with the locomotive alone - 60 cm). I don't know what to do anymore.... I feel like removing the contact rails inside the Loop.....erghhhh
  2. Hi everyone. I am writing to you from Ticino. This is my first post. I have two problems that I just can't solve; I hope for your kind help: PROBLEM 1. I am building a very simple track in the garden for my LGB (DC!) with a valley station, a mountain station and a return loop. In the layout I have installed several contact rails (6x) which are controlled via 1x Link 88 and 1x S88 DC and Central Station 3 (pink in the diagram). The 6 contact rails installed in the layout are 60 cm long each. These contacts, when only the locomotive (about 60 cm in length) passes, work without problems; however, if I add two wagons with lighting (approx. 60 cm each), as the convoy passes, the contacts on my CS3 flicker (yellow of the contact comes and goes). Is the contact rail too short? Does it have to be at least as long as the length of the longest train? So in this case 1.80m? Are the lighted carriages the problem? PROBLEM 2 I state that in my layout I have a return loop (yellow area of the diagram). In this section I have two contact rails (pink area) of 60 cm each. A contact is installed just before the exit section of the return loop (contact C). When I just run the locomotive no problem and everything works perfectly. When I turn the train with two lighted cars just before the exit section of the loop and near the contact track, the train stops. I state that the inverted polarity of the loop module in the loop area (yellow in the diagram) has always worked correctly. Are the lighted carriages the problem?
