I am mostly interested in the Flat Cars. Especially the Union Pacific. Only because I picked up a 1:34 scale Union Pacific tractor trailer at a show a few years back. However it just doesn't go with a NYC flat car color, it needs to be on a Union Pacific (yellow) car. So, the Union Pacific is a must have & possibly some others.
Why do some people just jump on eBay stuff with out doing a little research.
2 of them sold for $100 more then the dealer is selling them for. Not to mention buying from an unauthorized dealer has no guarantee if DOA.
I saw a MTH Christmas SD70 on eBay and my first thought was it was actually an O scale that was posted incorrectly. But as I looked at it more carefully I was surprised to find that it was in fact an MTH One Gauge engine.
it is a special build thru SideTrack hobbies. Plus the best news is they have them in stock right now.
During my Christmas setup this year on the carpet, my Daylight drivers would no longer articulate to one side, they seem to be stuck on something. There is nothing I see on the bottom of the engine that would prevent this though. Is opening it up the only option? Has anyone had an issue like this before in the past
For Sale MTH 70-79003 / With MTH Knuckle couplers (LGB couplers and Track pictured are not included). Car has only been run indoors. Has some paint pealing on end of drop gates (see photos). Shipped in original box with instruction booklet. Unit operates as new.
The Aristo #6 Wye is a #6 switch...whoever called it 2 number 3's obviously doesn't know their ass from their elbow!
Chuck, Thank you for the pictures of the switches. Why did they make the switch naming so confusing? So a #6 WYE is basically a #6 switch but it turns left and right instead of Straight and left or right
I have an older DCS remote (original style thumbwheel). Besides the thumbwheel change does the newest remote have another improvements? Like signal strength, faster response time, or such things?
I am looking at controlling my LGB, Piko & AristoCraft switches with MTH's AIU. I would like to learn how to do it with our Christmas layout, so I can apply it to our under construction outdoor layout when the snow melts. Does anyone have any insight doing this or where I can look for info on switching G scale switches with the AIU.
Besides going from rs232 to usb what are the other benefits? Are there any negatives is upgrading ? I still want to continue using our 3 remotes so I don’t see wanting the WTIU. Plus we already have the WIFI module when it first came out.
