Willow Glen Junction
Hi all, Question: I have zero signals or auxillary control on my MTH DCS layout which is DC powered; all of my switches are Aristo and I control them manually with my finger because I like running my trains, not fixing things. I would like to connect the LGB signal 51960 (American Semaphore) to one of those aristo switches and have it reflect the state of the switch, meaning when I flip the switch with my finger, the semaphore changes. I've done alittle reading and see that the LGB signal runs off "half rectified AC", so seems like I need a converter from the DC power of the track plus the state of the switch of some sort. Anybody have any idea how to do this? I think what I want here is not normal based on the LGB documentation. If someone knows of a native DC powered solution to show the state of the switch, I'm open to that too. thanks, keith
Willow Glen Junction
poking around on google, I found this site. This guy seems to make exactly what I want, a signal light that reflects the state of the switch: https://hollywood-electronics.com/block.html does anybody on here know of this site and have experience with the products?
