  1.  Yeap, I was recently suggested to go with 20' curves in the future so I could run a USA bigboy. My biggest curve in the house is the 11' ones from Aristo. So you might expect me to go big outside right? My yard is only 64' wide! - fencing and landscape. So unless you're in the rural areas around me, you can't get crazy big with curves and layouts. I wouldn't mind moving to a bigger lot to make a dream layout. For now, I'm thinking of the 15 footers or hand bent flex.

  2.  Well it looks like I'm late to the party again. I don't see much out there available in Amtrak cars right now. All the MTH ones are gone. I see that Aristo, LGB, and USA has made them in the past. Just don't see any around?? Are there any new ones out there?? Any double highs?? Would seem like a possible seller in modern scheme with LEDs inside and some other updates??

  3.  I haven't been there in years. We saw the G gauge MTH Challengers there when they were first coming out. My girl said she liked how it looked when it overhung on the curves. That's all it took for me to get the green light!

I'm trying to make it there again soon. I think the timing would be right for this year. I'm just not sure if she can get the time off work.

  4.  Yeap, I bet you're right. I just ran it in reg DC mode with a USA Geep. Both pulled 5 amps with a long train. The LGB was about 2 with no load. I have to tear into her. Another thing that I hate......

blueish LEDs! They kind of look like modern car headlights I guess. I just prefer warm white. Runs pretty smooth. Like to hear it with sound and a loud horn. I was going to put this one to last but now I'm wondering.....

  5. There are some great pics of steamers here. Everyone around me prefers steamers so I can understand and respect their excitement. I do enjoy watching them chug.

I really prefer the modern diesels, myself. That shot of the Warbonnets really catches my eye!!
