  1. Hello, I probably wont help you that much, but I've seen people make lots of unusual logging cars, I even saw one that was scale size logs glued to a bobber caboose chassis. Mostly logging cars were flat beds or skeleton logging cars I do believe. If you do come up with something please let me know cause I just bought a small logging engine and now I need some logging cars to go with it.
  2. So, in February, I bought a used Bachmann 5th generation 10 wheeler, but I'm having some problems with it. For one, a part for the smoke unit came out of it, and the wire inside the unit started to move around and it ended up burning into the plastic body around the unit, and when I pulled it out of the body, it separated from the metal contacts on both sides. I need a new unit but what should I choose cause I don't want another Bachmann unit. Second, I want to put an operating coupler on the front, but I don't know if it would work because of how much swing is on the front end, and plus, the dummy coupler sits above regular couples. anybody have any advice? Anything would be appreciated very much...
  3. I would just like to show everyone what little I have in g scale. I have a Kalamazoo 4-4-0 American from the mid 1980s, a Bachmann 5th Generation ten wheeler, and currently being shipped, a Bachmann 0-4-0 Porter.
