rmrobert6867@gmail.com
I'm new to G Scale Railroading. Building a small layout. Want to use split jaw rail joiners. How do you remove LGB brass track (indoor section) rail joiners??? They have that bent-over tang thingy and a dimple. Ron R
Chuck
Hi and welcome! Best way I've found is to destroy them. Spread them apart with a big flat screwdriver then using a pair of sturdy needle nose pliers pry the end down to where they sort of rotate out of the tie. Good luck! BrianUPheritage
USA Track is the same way I think. I unscrew the ties from the rail and then used a flathead screwdriver as Chuck said. Brian
rmrobert6867@gmail.com
Yep, that works -- they must be destroyed (carefully) to remove. Certainly makes the track components "used" forever, ha! Very time consuming when you have lots of 'em. THANKS, Ron R
