doubletrak Posted April 2, 2022 Share Posted April 2, 2022 I have MTH item 70-2139-1 EMD SD70ACe and need to make a minor repair to the inside of the cab. It appears the sill piece that the cab windows slide on is detached and loose in the cab. I have removed the main body from the chassis and all of the associated screws inside the main body. Does anyone have any guidance or pictures showing how the body pieces come apart to access the cab interior? Even with all screws removed it does not separate. I've only removed body to service smoke unit etc. I did look into tightening a ditch light or see how it's mounted but backed out as looked like a project that I didn't have time for.
