Jerry B44
I did not like that my MTH passenger cars were the same color on the inside as the UP color on the outside. So I took them apart and found the interior was a separate piece. WOndery why they didn't mold them a different color? Anyway I sprayed one gray, one two colors of green to give a material look and the observation car a burgundy color. In it I painted the table tops and some of the seats different colors, since that's how they look in old pictures. SOme were pretty wild colors/textures. I used some figres I got from ebay. I had to mostly repaint them, since ALL had black hair and the skin tones were awful. Two cars to go!
Digtigs69
I do not have any passenger cars as they seem to be just a few odds and ends available in my area; meaning one Tuscan, different eras of silver, etc. I did not realize they were that detailed inside. They look very nice and like your art work Jerry. J

Jerry B44
These are MTH passenger cars, they are in 1/32nd(Gauge 1) scale. You can write Ray(on this site) he is a MTH dealer, but not sure parts are available.
benshell
Very nice improvement Jerry! By the way, how difficult is it to take apart these cars? I don't yet have any passenger cars, and I'm torn between getting started in 1:32 and buying MTH cars, or sticking with 1:29 and buying USA Trains cars. One downside of the USA Trains cars is that I hear they are extremely difficult to open up, and yet if you don't convert to LED lighting they draw a lot of power. But on the upside they have more types of passenger cars than MTH. :S
Jerry B44
Ben, They come apart real easy, need a long shaft phillips to get in the holes on the bottom, 6 screws. Then a littlle prying/pinching and it pops off.
