  6. Finally had the chance to run the new PRR passenger service. Still making repairs to layout due to hard winter and deer walking on things, such as track. Boy, the weeds are already bad this season. This train is totally Aristo and control and sound are by REVOlution................Jim

  12. Kevin, Yes, 1/24 Danbury. There are a few on Ebay. Looks like we will be bidding against each other. Let the battle begin! I love collecting vehicles for my layout. I go on vacation two times a year in Florida and always hit the Flee markets looking for diecast...............Jim
  13. Would like to get one of these next. Need to save my pennies.................Jim
  14. Jerry, I got the milk truck on Ebay, it is a Danbury diecast, 1/24 scale. There are loads of nice Danbury Mint diecasts on ebay. Also check out 1/25 scale First Gear.....................Jim
  15. Stainless Steel is much harder to work with as compared to Brass or Aluminum. Stainless is hard to cut, tap and bend. Don't get discouraged, just do your home work on how to work hard materials. Stainless is a poor conductor as compared to brass and aluminum so plan on more jumper wires and good track joiners/clamps...............Jim
  16. Great looking trains gentlmen. This thread was a great idea, love seeing all these locomotives.......Jim
  17. Here is an oldie. Twice a year we vacation in Florida and I take trains along to run where we reside and then visit Ed Headinton to run trains. The chessie GP-40's are some of my favorites. Those 100 ton BN hopper cars in the video I purchased from Ed........Jim
  18. Forgot the Heavyweights in the next shipment !!.................Jim
  19. I talked to Scott and Navin at the York show. Expectations are we will see downloadable sound files for the REVO in 2 months, new ore cars next year. Next shipment will include FA's, C-16's, 0-4-0's & other items, you have to crawl before you can run. I'm just guessing here, but this may allow Scott to start getting some spare parts that are affiliated with these loco's and others. The FA's use the new SD-45 smoke units. Just my thoughts and I could be wrong.
  20. Accucraft had a booth and they only had an engineering drawing of GP60. They did not have the Dryfuss there but I did hear them say they need a few more pre-orders to start production..............Jim
  21. Kevin, you locos are always great looking. Great job of weathering and mods. Did you remove window shades from C-19 and if you did was it hard. I would like to remove mine due to clearance issues, they really make the cab wide. ................Jim
  22. Jens, great looking loco. All makes are welcome and appreciated here................Jim
