  2. Here is the crowd pleaser. Lead loco has Phoenix 2K2 both controled by REVO. The cars are very heavy so now I added a silver painted CB&Q E8 for a total of 3 loco's.
  3. Here is another one. Tell me when to stop. I wish I had more of these GP-40's. These two can run on track or battery power. Both are Revo controled and lead loco has Phoenix P8 sound...........Jim

  8. A little project for this winter. Blackened and white walled the wheels and painted running gear...................Jim
  9. Niel, I think I`m going to install an Aristo smoke unit and if it works well then i will do two K-27`s. I also have MTH equip, great smoke units. Welcome to the forum...........Jim
  10. Ed, was running on track DC. Each engine will run on battery. I added battery plug on each tender when installing revo and P8. Just throw the switch from track to battery..........Jim.

  12. Here is a link to some close up pics of Bachmanns new C-19. These pics are high def and you can zoom in and pan around, you can also loan load. The C-19 got a good run at the 2012 Bazaar.   17. Kevin, Well, I tried to but did not work. Manual was confusing to me. So I did if the old proven way since I need to be ready for a run. My two K-27's, I hooked up to optical sensor with transistor per Paul Norton,s instruction. If someone figures it out I can change. If you hear anything let me know..................Jim
  18. Just finished Revo and Phoenix P8 install. This is a real nice loco. Do not like the window awnings. May try to remove them. Have only run on 3 foot test track. Will get good run at church bazaar on fri and sat. I glued 3 magnets with reed switch on tender wheel and this gives all but perfect 4 chuffs per driver revolution. My install allows both track and battery operation with the throw of a switch.........Jim

  21. How many will be building an indoor Christmas Layout? Post some pics of this years and/or previous years. It may inspire others to put a train around the Chrismas Tree. Come on, get some of that old fashion Christmas Spirit. I have great memories of me, my dad and my brothers setting up the train display and Christmas Tree.................Jim
