Ordred one boxcar from MTH in september 2013, got it last week! Nice car and it have better wheels than previous ones ( smaller flanges )
-
Thank's Dash 8! I like the old diesels best, but i like this model of the Dash 8, i will for sure think about getting one!
-
Thank´s so far! Seems like it can run on Marklin tracks if it is the same flanges as the F7?
-
Thank's just wonder since the VO-1000 and F7 runs fine on my Marklin tracks!
-
Do anyone know what high the flanges are on the Dash 8? Is it the same as the VO-1000 and F7?
-
Maybe? I can see that Marklin now cooperate With another US company, AZL in Z scale so Who knowes!
-
Interesting! I got the Marklin magazin today, and on the backside there was a big advertisement for MTH trains! It was for the tinplate model of Leipzig station! Can we see some cooperation between these two great companies in the future?
-
Great news! I guess They will make either a famous steamer like Big boy who Apply to a lot of people or a steamer Who was used by many companies and can be Made many versions of!

Wonder who produce buildings in 1:32 or 1:29 scale, most G gauge buildings seems to be in 1:24 scale?
Aristo craft had some in 1:29 and Marklin some in 1:32 but they don´t produce theese anymore! Piko also have some few
but there seems to be very few comparing to 1:24 scale!

Sad about the VO-1000, it is a very good model who runs very well and have a great pulling power, maybe the best from MTH, i allready have one and i was thinking about one more
but now it,s too late!
-
My experience with MTH trains on Marklin track is that i have 2 MTH engines, a VO-1000 and a F-7 who both run well on Marklin tracks, same with Hopper cars and Caboose.
On my boxcars i had to take down the flanges a little but it was easy work!

I use a marklin trafo on my DCS equipment With no problem, the output is right and it should not cause any problems, i have run my MTH transport for 2-3 years now!

I like old diesels best, but if MTH really make this, i would like one, if it have the same quality as the VO-1000 who was great!

Thank´s Chuck!
I was thinking about Sunset valley too, but to ship it from the states to Norway make it expensive, and i already run Marklin in H0 so i have
good relation to my Marklin dealer, and the garden railway started with a Marklin set with a blue diesel and 2 cars!

Bare hyggelig Bjorn!
I think only the newest Stuff works on Marklin tracks like VO-1000, F7, the Triplex and maybe GG-1 older locos may be a problem.
On Cars it is easy to take down the flanges or change the wheels!

I have Marklin one gauge tracks on my garden layout and the MTH stuff runs very well on it, but i think the problems are with older stuff, i have a F7 loco and a VO-1000 who works great on Marklin tracks, same with the hopper cars, but i had to take down the flanges on my boxcars, but it was easy to do, abot 30 minutes of work:-)
