rbrown7713
Here is a drawing of the general layout of the wheel positions. I think there is hope. Bob.
enginear joe
I am still absorbing that there's a gear problem. I thought they were bullet proof. I wonder if MTH would replace the gears for you?
rbrown7713
You are right, I checked again and I couldn't get it to mess a cog, so I must have had the gear box too loose when I checked it the first time. I might have solved the top single hanger for the piston rod, I am in the process of printing a large picture of the loco, but here is what I have. I will have to cut some of the guide on the bottom off, should look ok and I will have to stabilize it so that it won't fall off. Bob. enginear joe
I noticed that (skipping) when I bought an engine that had a few screws that were loose. Just a few threads allows the gears to skip. They must have precision tolerances that must be met/ kept.
rbrown7713
That is what happened. Solved the connecting rod problem, close enough for the girls I go with. Little more grinding at is there. Bob.

rbrown7713
I started another post with a better Title, couldn't figure out how to edit this post's title, so all future posts will be under the new one. Bob.
