Train Dan
What is the difference between USA 10' switches and #6 switches? Can I use them interchangeably or only at certain spots? I see the #6 switch is a bigger(longer) switch, so when do I use this one or the other size? I don't have any switches now, new at this and looking to purchase. I'm running on 10' diameter USA track. Thanks! Train Dan
Chuck
The USA #6 switches is basically a 20' diameter curve on the diverging rails.
Train Dan
Thanks Chuck but I'm not understanding since I'm new to this hobby. Since I'm running on a 10' diameter curve track don't buy the #6 switches as they are too big and instead buy the 10' switches?
Sean
Bigger switches work better like larger curves . but the 10' will work... the #6 will work better... think of then as a sweeping curves .. Does this help ?
