GMCAMARO
When grades get to steep for real trains they have the ability to drop sand in front of the wheels to gain some more grip and help overcome the grade. I have a grade that is a bit over 2% in my layout. If I want a layout in my house I have no choice but to live with this limitation. I thought once a saw a product that helped slipping while going up steep grades. Does anyone now of such a product, a google search did not rewveal what I was looking fore. Anyone know of such a product?
Rayman4449
There may be a product but I'm not aware of it. That to me is the big benefit of traction tires. What engines are you running?
grsman
There is something called Bullfrog Snot. I have never used it nor do I know anyone who has. http://www.bullfrogsnot.com I won;t take any blame or credit if you use it. Tom
Rayman4449
Good to know and it might work thanks Tom. Based on my experience with G scale if the engine has much weight to it and the forces involved I would imagine it would peel it off the drivers pretty quickly but I could be wrong.
