Jerry B44
I made this from wood and exterior styrofoam. I scored in the block patterns, then primerd/painted it. Might put lights on the ends. I used the rubber ice dam stuff on top to help preserve the wood top.
enginear joe
Pretty cool and probably quick? At the least, you could use it to make a mold and pour it again from concrete, when it gets old.
Jerry B44
I had one made like this I did about 18 years ago, if this lasts half that long it will probably be fine, since I'm 71 now.
enginear joe
Wholly craaaaa. I mean 18 years is really good!
Jerry B44
No use messing with concrete at my age. This bridge probably weighs about 10 lbs.
Jerry B44
Bridge is installed, hard on an old guys body getting down there. LED lights under the arches even work. Bridge sits on foam blocks, so the wood does not touch the ground. Top is covered with rubber ice/dam stuff so should hold up till we move in a few years. PAZGRR7315
Jerry, not only does the new color enhance the arches; your location and style are outstanding.
