Hi guys thought I would post some video of the steam locomotives 5910 and 30 class on the Richmond line last weekend.my mums cousin is the driver of 5910 its a 282 simulator to a American mikado. The locomotives are owned and operated by the laculan valley rail museum west of Sydney.

Hi bob i had to make a new drivers door and steps section on one of the cabs as it was missing so i used some 2 part mould sillercone puty on the opposite cab and poured up a new piece ill start working on the roof of the locomotive in the next few days as the wife has taken my laser making Christmas decorations i also have a Facebook page tods models and woodwork.

O yes all the different cuts and also engrave option are done at the same time

The program i use on my laser is lasercut 5.3 and you choose different colored lines for different power settings say a black line cut through and a blue line just score you also change the laser power settings for each line colour

O i did get the window frames you sent me o ive packed your kit but haven't sent it as yet will this Tuesday i just have to roll some corugated metal roofing for the waiting room

Hi jerry just going to use a simple bolt fixed in tbe the center of each motor truck and a hole in the locomotive floor

Started chassis plate and test fitted cabs now

Hi guys i have now started this project a 1/32 scale Victorian Railways B class locomotive . I have started on the 3 axle trucks and laser cut side frames. I dug around in my spares box and found 2 lionel G scale motor trucks . They were too short for the locomotive so i cut them in half and lengthen them and added a 3rd center dummy axle so it will be powered A1A +A1A . Ill be using battery power and rc and will have 4 motors to drive her along. Here are some pics of th3 cut and lengthened trucks and the laser cut side frame parts.

I also am happy to go to 1/29 if i have to ive used the usa trains motor blocks before and they do run smoother than Aristocraft im going to laser cut my own truck side frames any one know a good place to get the usa 3 axle trucks from i run minimum 20ft curves on my railway and would fix the 3rd pivoting axle solid. the axle spacing I need from center to center of the two outer axles is 145mm or close to +-5mm i think the trucks im after are on the SD40 -2

Hi im starting a scratchbuilt locomotive and i need 3 axle trucks i was looking at the the NSWL 3 axle trucks for the project as aristocraft ones are not available anymore are these trucks any good this is a picture of the locomotive im building
