todsmods Posted January 17, 2017 Share Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) Hi thought id post some pics of the new small fan driven smoke unit i just built for my railmotor . It uses a 50mm square ABS enclosure box. Top photo shows all its parts layed out. 1 20 mm 12 volt fan. A scrap piece of 6mm alluminium tube. A small wire wound resistor . And some fiberglass wick used in kerosene lamps . Last photo shows the test on my watt meter it draws less than one amp on a 4 cell lithium polymer battery pack .
