Chuck
This announcement took me by surprise! And being a Milwaukee Road Fan I ordered the F3 AA Set and 2 of the B Units! I never expected to see the Milwaukee Grey units in large scale! Here's the MTH link and be patient as it takes awhile to load for me...https://www.mthtrains.com/news/810 Screenshot.... Simon Duhamel
Unfortunatly the photo shows an F7 which I would be interested in, as the only modification I would need to do to make a correct PRR F unit is the pilot. But it is claimed to be an F3 (which MTH already released but with the wrong Tuscan livery!) I have tried to contact MTH people with no success about this issue and they just don't seem to care (It's probably sold out anyways by now). This is a darn shame as an F7 would have been much easier to detail into something realistic. The high fan F3 (there were only five sets I think) had streamlined number bopards and chicken wire between the portholes. Only one set had the freight type pilot (as per MTH) and all the others had passenger pilots. The later F7 would have the correct type number boards. But this unit would have at least the correct livery. Only two sets of FP7 had tuscan and five stripes. I wish somebody out there in the USA would contact them to find out what F unit they do intend to produce. Out here in France it is difficult to get that info. Cheers,Simon
enginear joe
the last time I got a response about an announcement, MTH said to trust the description and not the picture. Not that it will work here though!
Chuck
I sent a message to Andy on his Prime Mover website asking whether these will be a F3 or F7 version and never received a reply.
Rayman4449
Ignore the picture. Every description says F-3. They will be F-3.
