Jerry B44 Posted May 30, 2014 Share Posted May 30, 2014 I've always found Alberta Spruces at Walmart, Menards, Home Depot, etc...BUT NOT this year. Zero! Anyone finding that in their area? enginear joe Posted June 1, 2014 Share Posted June 1, 2014 The emerald ash borer is eating all the trees up here, after killing off all the ash trees. I find them inside the maples now. I wouldn't doubt it's moved into the pines and spruces now. I've had to kill them off with chemicals to save my trees. We have a big problem that's growing and it's kept quiet??? They say the combination of wind, dry conditions, and extended cold did them in! I've been around a while but never saw anything like this...
