enginear joe
Well I made it there. It was the wrong time of year, on the Fourth of July besides. I had to go out there (Las Vegas and AZ) for a family wedding. We left Vegas to see my brother in Phoenix where I used to be. So I made a drive by of the G scale king's house, Dennis S. I didn't want to bother him. So I just stared at the house for a few minutes. I was hoping for some activity outside. Everything shuts down in the dead of summer. Ah well..... maybe another time. benshell
That's someplace I'd like to visit sometime too. Although the thought of going in the summer isn't too appealing. It's hot enough here--another 100 deg day today in Sacramento.
enginear joe
Well it was like 111 in Vegas. It went down in Phoenix when a monsoon/dust storm rolled in?? I would have never believed it unless I was there. The year I decided to leave, we were setting records of high temps. My niece wouldn't marry in the spring??? enginear joe
I enjoy just watching his videos. He hasn't made a new one in quite some time? Maybe he's just having too much fun. He shares his trains with everyone. Truly a rich man.
