Dash 8
MTH has only a few freight cars, I think that will not change anytime soon. A MTH Flat of NYC was the basis for this Bulkhead-Flatcar. I saw this picture http://trainweb.org/mopac/cgw3017.jpg A kind gentleman from Switzerland made the drawings and Brass work. Unfortunately, the layouts were mirrored. But it remains originally. The Flatcar with Bulkheads seems too high for me. I lowered it about 1â„4 Inch. The 20 foot tank containers are made of brass and are very heavy. The springs in the bogies are exchanged against tougher. The Sierra Valley axes run in sealed ball bearings, 6x3x4mm The axle ends were reduced to 2.9 mm diameter. Rayman4449
Nice work Jan. I like the ball bearing ends there for the wheels and something I consider doing myself.
