Bicentennial
hello from Germany, many month ago I thought that a GP40 is a must have for my Milwaukee Road Garten Railroad. There were 2 options. Repaint an aristocraft GP40 or rebuilt an USAT GP38-2.Fairly quickly I made the desision that I will convert the USAT GP38-2.Here are some words ......What needs to be modified (or not) you see in the first pic because the USAT GP38-2 is a mixture of No-Dash and Dash 2 the Grill (No 1) can stay.First I`ve modified the wheels (40"). All my locos running SD70-wheels ...a "little" grind Job on the right you can see the modified. It looks now much more prototypical and the changes No. 4, 5 and 6air filter box eliminated now I´ve modified the fans and grills .... to be a GP with out dash: can you see it? ;-) and now ...... the dynamic brake hatch next step: the pilotsI´m using Kadee 1907 step by step .....all bulbs are changed with LEDs and completely wiredthe rotating beacon is missing yet in the background you can see the new ESU smoking generator is already waiting more weight, ESU-Decoder implemented and the ESU-smoker is prepared like a christmas tree ....... next days I will add the bell, all-weather window and speedometer cable and and and ......... greetings from Germany Thomas

Dash 8
Excuse me SirMany years ago I built a GP 40 as shown with air conditioning, etc.The ATSF had only the GP 2964 in stockIn an accident 1988, the locomotive was destroyed. In 1984, she was with round light, air conditioning and a Sinclair antenna. My last model in 1/29. Good by Aristo....

Dash 8
Sorry, incorrect entry ... Some Pictures, i hope you understand, That is a Gyrolok Brass Fitting 10 mm. You need the compressions ring and olive. Glass with rum flavoring or vanilla Diamond grinding disc 4 channel running light and 4 LED's 5 Volt instead the mini bulps.
