I bet if they sell more 1/29 scale economy cars, people will grab them up. I don't wish to argue, I stay away from their products right now.
-
I like to run modern diesels and got frustrated with what's available in G scale. I left for a while and bought a ton of O scale two rail. When summer comes, I hate to be in the basement. So, I'm not rich, but I need to run the big stuff outside. I could have tried the O scale outdoors as well. I just decided that the G scale stuff sitting around would be better to be used by me than sold.

Ok MTH, now that UP is going to bring back 4014, you have another reason to re-release your BigBoy with PS3!!!!
(please)
-
I skipped the VO1000 as it was too old for me. Now, I'm wishing I would change my mind. ...or maybe the shell with a modern one???
-
-
I have to say it, I love that last pic!!
-
This is good for me too. A few years back I saw some thing like these in the Aristo catalog. I could not get info on what they were for and how to install them. They look just like these but offered no specs.
-
Whoa, now that looks real!!
-
I got some new coal cars to add to my train. I was looking for more and found this one:
-
Yahoo!!
(I found another one!)
-
and to think how many years it took me to like the pumpkin colors??
-
I've heard of it at least. Now I'll have to go look at it!!
I thought someone had mentioned crushed granite or something like that also?
-
Did you scratch build the door and hardware??
-
Well I came across some 15 ft curves so it looks like my layout will be kinder to the big engines and long trains. I love the look of your switches and even the ballast. I've gone to several places and can't find the rock size I'm looking for to make it realistic. There's a quarry where the rock comes from that probably has it, but they don't deal direct. I need to find a dealer who'll order something that looks close to it in that picture.
Now I need to get more straight track too.
-
I'll have to take some more pic's
-
-
Na, that's Aristo stainless 132. I think I have a couple cars with his wheels. They derailed on switches until I spread them out a bit and added weight. Sometimes I'm leary of messing with stuff.
Yes, always post pictures!!! Love them. I want to start making more modern stuff from scratch or kit bashed. It seems there's a lot of stuff missing. Would love some high cubes and Automax's.

Thank you for the picture! Looks good! I wonder how she'd track through my aristo switches??
Did U remove the sliders?
-
Where'd you get the smoke deflectors? Mine didn't come with them.
-
Could you show a picture of the finished job? I'd like to see it with better wheel profile. I may do the same.
-
S?? We don't need no stinkin S!!! Urrrrrrrrrrrgggggggg.
First they jumped into HO and stalled the G. Now it's S, spreading them thin. I hope they don't forget us. They released one heck of an engine lineup in HO now. It would be nice to see 1/4 of that in G!!!!
-
Every time I see you guys post, I think I missed the catalog and jump. Got to be soon??? tick, tick, tick .............
-
This is very cool. I like the idea of computer control as it frees the system from flaws that's in the remote's design. It also could run the layout more precisely. Very cool.
-
Ok, I'm waiting......but my patience is like a kid in a toy store.................
Where is it???? what are the new engine releases???????????
tick....tick.....tick...... catalog has got to be near.............??
