  1. Or use Code 200, works fine with mostly of the newer MTH Stuff. Years ago i had 1/29 , Dash 9's SD 45 HH and SD40/2, of course with lower Flanges...
  2. Hello Great info, thanks for the explanations Joe. I have read and understood everything. And yes we need a Barber S 2 truck in 1/32. A small wish I like the safety tanker. And Thanks again
  3. And I thought MTH's G is under the earth, six feet deeper. Nice that it goes on, unfortunately nothing new. Which Dash 8 looks best .... Are all real ... ??? What is meant by First Responders or Veterans ? And what is a Saftey training car, CSX Tank Car ? Thanks for an explanation
  4. Thanks for the building report. The car looks good, nice proportions, I like the Trucks and Wheels. And I agree with primer paint looks better. That would be a great tanker for my MTH Stuff, but it has the wrong scale.
  5. Yes, it looks like, but if you have a allegheny purchased, you also need 20-30 coal hopper, a repeat business, small risk. I think ams builds the hopper before the stuff in 1/29 PR C&O 3-bay Hopper 2014-23-06_EURO.pdf
  6. Thank you, I searched for 9 panel Hopper ...but i'm not sure...
  7. Where is the coal car, I've been waiting a couple of years. This will certainly be a good model. But when ? 3 bay Hopper Thank you
  8. Looks good, I like that. I would the edges of the side windows paint with a felt pen. Black or silver, I think that would look good. As a window frame. The snowplow fits well, that will look good. Thank you
  9. Sounds good. The Dash 9 Snowplow is a very nice part, very thin and well-proportioned, a good choice. Can I use for me ... My dash 9s are all sold .... with snowplow .... a shame My Dash 8s are not perfect, they are without Coupler liftbars. This is difficult to build, the Ditchlights in the way .... Thank you for your attention d_rgw_nose.pdf
  10. I see the front of the Dash 8 And a very large couplers. There is still much to do. The problem is, there is nothing in the accessories. Except Kadee csx 4843
  11. I understand, the same components are a problem. I also have a beacon built with “Gyrolok “ fitting 10 mm in brass for the GP. For the glass a few pictures. Regards and Thanks for watching
  12. Hello, I'm still alive. You need a DC / DC converter to 6 volts, or a LM317 adj. And a 4 channel Running light, mine has 6 volts. The lamp housing I have already shown. Thanks for watching 167833-an-01-en-STEP_DOWN_KONVERTER_1A_W78_ADJ.pdf 191523-an-01-de-SMD_Baustein_4Kanal_Lauflicht.pdf
  13. Hi, Märklin Adler built in 1980 and later... Found a Video Märklin Adler
  14. Some time ago I asked Piko about their flatcar. Which scale Which model or AAR-type Is it compatible with one gauge 1/32 The only answer, No, the proportions do not fit with one gauge I think they are right
  15. Thank you Ray, and here the forgotten pictures. Joe, the smoke blowed in to the engine shell and kondensed to fluid again. I hope the new o Ring is better. And a question, how to install the new wick ??? Short pieces or around the heaters, whats better. Thank you
  16. MTH V0 1000, some repairs That UP engine is now 6 jears old and need some repairs. The volumen of the enginesound is like zero. and the enginesmoke is poor. Problems, The gasket to the smoke engine is defekt. The smoke fills the shell and drops down to the speaker. the speaker stands in smoke oil, dead. the new speaker from visaton, the same as MTH. and the sound comes alive, like new. I replaced the gasget with an o-Ring. that should be work better, i hope. the wick is black, burned, i think that's glass kabel I'm waiting for that replacmentpart. The Heaters are alright. And finally i replaced the akku with 2 Capacitors in series. That works pretty good. That is a very fine engine and a good puller. Thanks for watching *********************************** Sorry , i miss my last post here from yesterday....???? Something about my MTH V0 1000 . Very strange......
  17. Hello, the track height is 4.6 mm. S 49, 49kg / m http://www.gleisbau-welt.de/site/material/schienen_schienenprofile.htm An example of high-end track construction. Unfortunately, not all available. For outside I think is this better, stainless steel http://www.proform-spur1.com/ or http://www.spur1.at/ I have my tracks built many years ago, without Internet. Beech wood and small screws for the profiles No ribbed base plates, nothing, but it drives everything until today. And not expensive.
  18. Forget the curtain rods as code 332 This is a good track ( Indoor ) http://www.s49-gleis.de/hersteller/
  19. Looks very good I did the same job. The grills painted black, then a slight weathering. The door hinges are weathered with powder paint. And a little rust must be That looks even better. The last series of UP Dash had black grills. I have a Santa Fe Dash new from 2011 with silver grills That is not looking good, black is better.
  20. Hi, Joe, I do not quite understand what you're doing. But it looks interesting. You want to pour the Pilots in silicone? I do not know anyone who has done that. For the next winter I need a few of them .... My Harley Dash need it
  21. Hi Joe, For the rear pilot you can make a sandwich and then drill the holes
  22. Hi Joe, The MTH snowplow I have increased with a filler. As picture 5 The snowplow of Ozark is better for the Santa Fe Dash. Very heavy and too wide, a lot of work for the file. A beautiful image of a brass plow Samhongsa SD45.
