Jerry B44
UP's 844 on it's first outing, heading to Tennesse. Stoped in Cozad, NE at the 100th Meridian for a ceremony and was viewed by many. Here it is pulling out of town.

Chuck
First outing?? What about the Cheyenne Frontier Days Special? Now this is the first train it's pulled without a diesel pusher since 2010 Great video but 844 doesn't look right without the big red light hanging on the smokebox. Jerry B44
I knew about that Chuck, but this is quite a bit more than running to Denver, so just kept it simple. Most people don't know about it after all. Glad you liked the smoke Sean-if only!
enginear joe
For a split second, I thought this read something about Cozad's RR. I guess I'm always hoping he continues in G scale. Thanks for posting.

Does that locomotive really care if it's running 200 or 2,000 miles?? I stand by my original post that this is it's 2nd outing. Great work Ray! Jerry B44
Good pix Ray. Nice to get close to it without walkng over two tracks and ballast. I thought they might pick up a few passenger cars on the way, but see they did not.

Jerry B44
844 stopped in Lexington on it's way back to Cheyenne. Seemed to have some grease/oil on the lead truck. I might try to get a video together. Here's some shots.
