  6. Jerry, in black and white! http://mthtrains.com/70-3027-1
  7. The ART 5400 should be okay for a single locomotive. Plastic wheels will deposit a plastic coating on your track, outside rail on curves is the worst because that wheel drags thru the curve. ...............Jim
  8. What voltage are you using. I have two of the new C16 with the belt drive and they pull just fine. If you have a kink in the track you will lose traction because of the small wheels lose traction very easily.......Jim
  9. Jerry, thanks for the great pics. It is so big it is hard to photograph. Can't get any detail while trying to get entire engine in photo. Panoramic camera required. .......Jim
  10. I guess you could call it a very low draw bridge..........Jim
  11. I hope the new version will have SXS on the throttle so I will not have to tap out the crossing horn manually. ..........Jim
  12. Jerry, It looks like you need facial hair to get one. And it needs to be grey. .....Jim
  13. Well I put down a deposit for the #4012 coal fired Bigboy. Can't wait! Anyone else take the dive? Still looking at the NS F7's, sure look good. ...............Jim
  14. Jerry, The passenger cars are MTH and I purchased those with the D&H PA's. I also have a set of PRR that I got with my GG1. Soon time to run the two GG1's Later.............Jim
  15. WOW, what a weekend. Installed new battery in Bigboy and it ran flawlessly.
  16. Got my new Garden Railway magazine yesterday. Saw no ads for Polks GeneratioNext. What next..............Jim
  17. There is nothing like the first time you run a train on a layout in progress. Looks like fun! I say in progress because you are never finished and you can't wait to run a train. Please post video of first run..............Jim
  18. If the frog is not powered you should only have problems with 4 wheel engines like a davenport or eggliner..............Jim
  19. Another great weekend of weather and trains................Jim
  20. Joe, here are the diesels with some influence from Jerry. What a great weekend! Ran them Saturday and Sunday and had three visitors who wanted to see G-scale and compare notes to their HO and S-scale.................Jim
  21. Don't forget the thread I did under Kitbashing. Perhaps I can add pics of loads being made plus I'm working on the Cornwall #100 NW2 Diesel.........Jim
  22. The sound is the standard steam sound of the REVO. The ore loads are Styrofoam with black sand glued to it with a solution of 1/2 part white wood glue, 1/2 part water and a dab of dish soap. Got the sand at Michaels. The fine sand is historically accurate because the Cornwall mines crushed the ore before shipping it to the concentrator in Lebanon, PA. Most people would expect the model to have large rocks like a coal load. I plan to make more ore loads..............Jim
  23. Also shown is the new NW extension along the back of my home and also the first use of the new turn around....................Jim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2iI2Z2XUr8
