  1. Jerry I noticed that 1000 as well The things are perfect for the young grand kids . And I love them for TEST subjects. lol Crash and burn fun toys with the kids. The younger the more crashes and enjoyment they get from them. Lots of giggle time. MUCH better than letting them fool with my more loved engines. That will happen later hopefully. Larry PS Jerry Have a great Holiday season and Merry Christmas!
  2. Thanks for the info Ray . Just hoping it gets under the big tree next month with my passenger cars. lol
  3. Hi Ray Do you have any information on the GS4 American Freedom engines coming in yet. More rumors that it may be soon??? Larry
  4. Chuck you are faster than I. lol I just returned from York last night. I don't generally approach him , just say hi in passing . Most of the time a line is waiting to hit the poor guy up for one reason or another . This time I did and asked him Thursday about the next catalog. He advised me then New Tooling and The MTH RailKing One-Gauge SD70ACe are going to be made. Personally I was specific on the UP Spirit SD ACe O gauge engine as a example. He pointed that one out in his MTH display . It's going to be made. I'll be getting that one for sure. I'm really looking forward to the next catalog whenever it hits the market. Larry
  5. Yes I did pick it up with the 1st responder engine on a trip to Ohio last week. Hope to run both soon. Larry
  6. Jerry Looks good and so does the new layout. I bet you’re really enjoying it being up off the ground. No more crawling . Larry
  7. Chuck Thanks for reply. I went ahead and ordered another bridgewerks. The 15 ampSR. That way power will not be a issue. Larry
  8. Hi Chuck Thanks for the information. I have the Magnum 220 SR for my layout. I was wanting a separate one for just my test bench . I had been using the USA 10amp but it is now not recommended for DCS / TIU use. So that's why I was hunting a less expense less amps Bridgwerks. The Morrision you have pictured has a msrp of $275.00. That is not bad if: it's compatible and 3amps is enough power for testing my DCS big One gauge steam engines and diesels. Or just go5 or 10 amps. Larry
  9. Ray I'm certainly interested in any info you might say . I'm hunting a bridgwerks product for my test bench and Chucks post came up with perfect timing on the subject. Larry
  10. Hi Chuck Ray has eliminated my USA Power 10 transformers for my new 10 foot test track and or my rollers. I have PS2 and PS3 engines and want the ability to test with a complete DCS system (TIU and REMOTE). Do you run DCS with PS2 and PS3 engines for testing? If so do you think the new "Morrison" will work as well as your Magnum 60T. Thanks for any information. Larry W. Peterson Erwin, TN
  11. Jerry your dash 8 should be in ASAP. Just got e mail Mine is Larry
  12. Hi Ray Keep in mind I'm a new guy to DCS . lol Way back I discussed information about the USA 10amp power supplies that have the remote. I ended up going with a Bridgewerks transformer. I do use a USA on the outside layout for AC accessories only because Bridgewerks only provides DC. I also have a second USA 10 amp in my recently set up test track. It is a 8' section of track with rollers available if I want to use them. It also has a dedicated TIU and remote for testing MTH One Gauge engines. When I test other engine brands I unplug the TIU from the circuit and use the remote attached to the USA 10amp transformer for testing basic operations. My question is, am I doing something wrong with this set up? I have had no issues doing what I have described on the test track. But, I don't want to ruin a TIU if I'm using it incorrectly. I have only tested a half dozen engines or so. Thanks for your time. Larry ******** Ray's comment 12/18/18: The USA Trains Power 10 power supply is a Linear power supply (not PWM) so it is safe to use. We cleaned up and removed later replies in this thread to avoid confusion and am posting a reply here to save time and clarify for anyone else reading this later.
  13. Looks good Jerry. Maybe the Veterans Dash 8's will be delivered by the time your finished with track. They are on the recent MTH shipping schedule for arriving this month. Laughing at myself as I say that . Larry
  14. I will also say Stan does excellent work. I have ordered several times. Larry
  15. Looking good Jerry. I am looking forward to watching your build. Looks like a class act in the making. Larry
  16. Just information only The shipment apparently is in country for some of the new (2nd shipment 2017 catalog releases) of the MTH Railking One Gauge Big Boys. Numerous numbers have been advertised but it's the 4014 oil burner that I'm directly speaking of . I have been watching for them for sometime to hit the smaller market not the large stores. Larry
  17. Very nice Jim! Appreciate your video. Larry.
  18. Yard SAVE< SAVE SAVE SAVE, I never toss a train box . Don't matter if it's O or G. But, your going to hear very different opinions on this subject. Having room space being a big one. Larry
  19. John Hope you do get some information. I have only been able to post my Go Pro videos of that size by going through the u-tube site. I think most forums run in the 100 meg max. That's a guess only based on other sites. Larry
  20. Nice, I can see why you like it. Larry
  21. Joe Your faster than I. We even have leaves on the trees and I can't get out of Honey do's yet.. Bathroom up date is killing me. I'm anxious and its getting close. Thanks fore the motivation. Larry
