Well MTH has pushed the Ontario Northland F7's back to July...So I figure all F7's will ship then. My experiences with MTH in the O gauge world is the shipping dates are nothing but a estimated guess at best

You know I've been kind of following the T1 Trust for a few years on another forum and I don't know what to think about them. They do seem sincere but when hard cold questions are asked they sort of side-step answering them. The biggest question is where will they get a Duplex frame? Those cast frames were some of the largest pieces ever made in the world at General Steel Castings in Granite City, IL. but that company is long gone and so is the art of large sand castings. Suppose it could be made up of weldments but would it hold up? Cast steel is a heck of a lot tougher than a weldment BUT the engines that EMD makes theses days are a weldment and not cast. Next question is where are they going to operate it? The PRR had severe restrictions on where the Duplex's could run and it seems to me they were limited to between Chicago and Ohio because of curve and clearance issues so that negates the whole East Coast. Another question is where to make those main & side rods out of the exotic materials that were used? Lightweight and strong so as not to throw off the balancing which is also a lost art. Then come those rotary poppet valves and where to pickup where the PRR left off on the development of them? I do wish them the best of luck but I'd think they'd be better off finishing K4 1361...the one that got botched up when it was attempted to restore it.

List price will be $1,459.99 for each unit and a 10% non-refundable deposit will be required as these will be a build-to-order only custom run. I need 1,000 orders to commence the engineering so send me your $$$ NOW!! Units to be delivered sometime in the near future before the year 2020. Well that should hush the nay-sayers about MTH getting out of one gauge I haven't bought a GR magazine since Peter Jones passed away...as far as I'm concerned the other "writers" are nothing but posers and/ or bought and paid for by the advertisers.

Joe, I don't know but it appears that you'd have to modify them a bit. The Aristo wheels for those trucks have the axle shoulders machined back flush with the wheel face. The Kadee wheels have a black plastic insulator protruding past the wheel face which may cause interference with the Aristo truck frame. Suppose one could cut the insulator flush with a razor knife but since I have no Aristo modern trucks I can't answer that.

I believe that those are MTH F3's. Nick Jr. on this forum has a Aristo RS3 converted with one of Jerry Hyde's kits.

I received a set today from Reindeer Pass/ Kidman Tree Farm in Iowa and I'm really pleased with them. The gauge is fine and the roll out pretty dang good. Much better quality than Bachmann wheels and I'd say just as good or better than Aristo's or USA Trains. I'll be ordering these by the hundreds

Hi Michael, I'm west of you out by Elgin but I'm mainly into 1:32 scale these days. I was heavily invested into 1:29 but when the economy tanked I sold most all of it off and am starting back up for the 3rd time with 1:32 with an indoor and outdoor rr...I hope!

Well Thursday at the Eastern Chapter of the TCA's spring meet better known in the O Gauge world as the York Show the Founder, President and CEO of MTH Electric Trains Mike Wolf gave his MTH Presentation of new and future MTH products at the TCA Museum. He didn't say anything about the One-Gauge line-up then again it is a O Gauge show but he did let out that the One-Gauge lineup is next to get the GE ES44AC Evolution Series with those cool charging lights! Yeah...MTH is dead in the One-Gauge world
