Nick have you thought of using a drill bit extender ? Cant' post pics. Look were the drill bits are @ Lowes or Home depot are located. Just Google drill extender to see what I mean.

This is why we suggested body mounting the couplers .. It is all about how it looks .. If were my project ,I would cut the coupler mount right were the mount meets the truck . good shot is above lower right.

Since your doing a display you should body mount some ka-dee couplers.

Don't bother .. not a good unit. When I replaced mine I went with a Zimo unit. This is a Aristo like unit. If your thinking DCC check out Zimo's offerings.

I found that a shoot or directional diverter was something to slow/clog the snow from exiting the unit. My unit has nothing ... to change snow discharge direction ... I reverse the impeller rotation .. has worked so far with out problems. I also have no protruding handrails or indents like windows .. I fine that snow will stick to them.

Nick I tried to upload a pic .. but ... keep getting : Upload Skipped (error407) To answer your question we use to put treats( grapes,vegies etc. they will almost eat anything) in the suet feeders .. no more ... to much work easer just to throw them in the run.. and watch them run after them.
